Snapchat has launched its own game line called SnapGames? Like Pokemon GO, you can team up with your friends and play with them. Invite your friends to play your favorite games, just like Facebook games. Fight your friends with Bitmoji characters or work as a team to prevent zombies from spreading in Bitmoji Party mini-games.
Some games can invite up to 28 Snapchatters to watch, while others can invite up to 8 players at a time.
In addition to photography, video, and messaging features, Snapchat offers many games for you to enjoy with your friends. But what exactly is a Snapchat game or a snap game? Simply put, these games are small applications built into the Snapchat client that allow two or more users to compete with each other.
Easy to set up, Snap, the company behind Snapchat, will continue to add more games in the future. So far, you can play Bitmoji Party and Snake Squad.
How to play:
Step 1: Open the Snapchat app on your mobile phone.
Step 2: Swipe right to display your friends’ chat menu.
Step 3: Tap the person or group chat you want to invite to play the game.
Step 4: Find and tap the rocket icon to open the game drawer (on the right side of your keyboard). Step 5: Select the game you want to play. When you launch the game, everyone who chooses to play will receive a notification in Snapchat’s inbox.
You can start without them and they can dive into the game when they are ready. You can play without friends, but other snap chatters from around the world can join the game.
Step 6: When playback is finished, tap the X at the bottom of the screen, then tap Finish.
Snap Games has developed six games, but only two have been released so far.
•Bitmoji Party: Play as a Bitmoji character with your friends in mini-games such as Zombie Escape (escape from “zombie” players), Pool Party (prevent knocked out of blocks), Kick Off (stand at the end). And spin sessions (don’t fall off the wheel). For each game, a gamemaster is selected with the goal of losing other players. You can play up to 8 snap chatter at the same time.
•Tiny Royale: Like Fortnite, this is a battle royale style game. You and your friends will shoot your way until you stand last.
• Snake Squad: This game is similar to the popular snake game played on the 8th grade calculator. Eat dots to grow and block enemies. Up to 5 friends can play at the same time.
• CAT Drift Race: Drift race with friends on fast track.
• Zombie Rescue Team: Work with your friends to rescue civilians from zombie-infested cities. Up to 3 friends can play at the same time.
•Alphabear Hustle: Work with your friends to quickly create words for creating a village.
When your friends invite you to the game, tap the game icon to start playing. You can also chat with your friends in-game via text or live audio chat.
