The label informed The Braxtons’ other members that they weren’t a group they were interested in signing.
But not all was lost. Following the success of her solo career, Toni Braxton embarked on a U.S. tour and hired The Braxtons as her support vocalist. The Braxtons never released a single or an album, but eventually, the record company that signed Toni did sign them.
Traci’s singing career abruptly ended in 1995. Although it was commonly believed that she had quit the music business to work as a youth counselor, the truth was that her pregnancy prevented her from signing a new record deal.

Back To Music
Traci was able to resume her singing career with the help of the increased media attention brought on by Braxton Family Values. She began work on her first solo album in 2013 after joining a new record company. 2014 saw the release of Crash & Burn, which was a big hit. “Last Call,” the album’s debut song, reached number 16 on the US R&B Adult charts. On the R&B charts, the album itself peaked at number eleven.
The Braxton sisters reverted to their original family name after Braxton Family Values. In 2015, the newly reconstituted group issued Braxton Family Christmas, its second studio album. Traci took part in The Braxtons’ first album because she had to quit the group due to pregnancy before this one was released.
