The second season of the unusual Dutch detective Van Der Valk has been eagerly anticipated in both the US and the UK.
Marc Warren won praise for his portrayal of Piet Van Der Valk in the 2020 revival of the legendary 1970s series starring Barry Foster on ITV and PBS. The show’s stunning rendering of the Dutch capital also received accolades from viewers.

Van der Valk and his associates are still investigating and solving intriguing murder mysteries as season two begins, all while taking in the bustling cityscape of Amsterdam.
The show will release three new episodes, and a third season has already been confirmed.
Season 2
Van Der Valk season 2 has already been broadcast in the UK, but you can still watch it on the ITV Hub.
The US series premiere will be on PBS on September 25 at 9 p.m. ET.
Van Der Valk Season 2 cast
Commissaris Piet Van der Valk, played by Marc Warren (Beecham House, The Good Wife), is back, along with Detective Lucienne Hassell, played by Maimie McCoy (All Creatures Great and Small, Grantchester).
Before they ordered it, Maimie was asked about a potential second season and said, “It’s received such a lovely response from such amazing audiences.” What we have created together as a team is the beginning of something spectacular. The Borgias In addition to Luke Allen-Gale, Elliot Barnes-Worrell from Ready Player One, Darrell D’Silva from Domina, and Emma Fielding from Years and Years, who previously played Julia Dahlman, the detective’s superior, all re-join Van Der Valk’s team.
