Kotaro Lives Alone Season 2
Watching Kotaro Lives Alone this weekend had to be one of the best things we’ve done all year.
Without a doubt, many anime fans definitely feel the same way as they have been captivated by this hilarious yet heartwarming Netflix series and have even watched it a few more times. All that’s left is to tune in too to experience this amazing anime!
After tuning in, if you happen to finish this series in one sitting like we did, you’re probably anxiously awaiting the second season, especially since there are still a lot of questions to be answered, like the series specifics of Kotaro’s father’s whereabouts and the details of who is Kotar’s mother. Season 1 might not be the key to learning more about our feudal Japan-loving toddler, but there’s a good chance Season 2 will touch on those themes and more. That means if we get a season 2.

Kotaro Lives Alone Season 2 Update
Unfortunately, Kotaro Lives Alone doesn’t appear to have a second season on the way at this point, given that the last episode of the first season felt more like a series finale than a season finale. What’s more, Kotaro Sato’s story seems to have come full circle by finally realizing that his true power has little to do with living alone.
Having said all that, Season 2 of this anime might be a bit redundant. Still, we’re pretty sure a second season wouldn’t run into this problem since there’s still so much story left to cover, canonical or not.
We could see Kotaro learn even more important life lessons, or we could see him make even more new friends. Maybe we can learn more about Shin Karin’s career and see if he ever makes it big. Maybe we’ll see Mizuki down the road. The possibilities are endless, but only time will tell if we’ll ever see any of them.
