Pokemon Unite, How To Play Talonflame? And Much More

How To Play Talonflame?

Pokemon Unite, the brand new Pokemon MOBA launched today on Nintendo Switch, and many Pokemon fans may be new to the genre. A game about controlling lanes and fighting for map control. Each Pokémon plays a distinctly different role on the team. Here’s how to play Talonflame and the Pokemon’s moveset in Pokemon Unite.

Pokemon Unite Talonflame Moveset and How to Play

First off, Talonflame is a melee fighter, which means you’ll need to get up close and personal when fighting. Fortunately, Talonflame also has maximum mobility, so you can easily approach or retreat from fights thanks to the increased speed.

Talonflame will start each match as a basic Fletchling form and will have to move acrobatics from the start.

Acrobatics: Have the user fly towards a designated area and attack multiple times. Allows the user to escape in the chosen direction after using this move.

After leveling up once in a match by defeating enemies or wild Pokémon, it gains the move, Peck.

Peck: Have the user fly towards the enemy pokemon and attack three times

Once you start leveling up, you’ll unlock more powerful moves, but you’ll have to choose between several different ones.

Upon reaching level 5, Peck will be upgraded to either Flame Charge or Aerial Ace, depending on which one you choose, by swiping left or right on the D-Pad during a match.

Flame Charge: Allows the user to fly in a designated direction while cloaked in flame, attacking enemy Pokémon in its path. It also increases the user’s movement speed for a short period.

Aerial Ace: Lets the user fly at a designated enemy Pokemon to deal damage. It also makes the user’s next basic attack a boosted attack.

Both are excellent choices, and it depends on whether you want increased movement speed or attack power. In most cases, the extra movement speed helps Talonflame shine, as it can go almost anywhere on the map if your team needs help.

At level 7, you’ll have to make another choice, as Acrobatics can be upgraded to Fly or Brave Bird. Fly is a super useful move and I recommend it over Brave Bird as it helps to get on top of your opponents.

Fly: Have the user fly up into the sky. If used again, the user is supposed to dive into the designated area and attack, dealing damage to enemy Pokémon in the area of effect. It also makes the user’s next basic attack a boosted attack.

Brave Bird: Dives user to the designated location while cloaked in flames, dealing damage to enemy Pokémon in the area of effect. It also deals knockback damage to the user when it hits.

Brave Bird is a much riskier move that I don’t recommend unless you have a very specific use case for it.

Each Pokemon has a finishing move known as a Unite move. Talonflame’s Unite move is Flame Sweep.

Flame Sweep: Makes the user perform an aerial somersault before dashing forward, dealing damage to enemy Pokémon in the path of the move and pushing them.

This move is great for breaking up a team fight and trying to isolate a pokemon or two that you know you can take out.

Talonflame is an excellent choice if you want to have a hand in everything that happens around the map. His speed is unmatched in the game and he can get in and out of trouble.
