The Sneasel character appears in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in both its Hisui and its Johto incarnations at various points in the game. Both of these forms have the potential to evolve into different Pokémon at a later time.
Hisui Sneasel and Johto Sneasel will both ultimately evolve into Sneasler, however Johto Sneasel will evolve into Weavile. Hisui Sneasel will evolve into Weavile. In order to evolve any of these Pokémon, in addition to satisfying a further requirement, you will need to have a Razor Claw in your possession.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the steps to develop a Hisui Sneasel into a Sneasler are as follows:
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you must use a Razor Claw on a Hisui Sneasel when it is awake during the daytime in order to develop it into a Sneasler.
After you have obtained a Razor Claw, wait until the daylight (you may sleep if you need to) before picking the item from your inventory and using it on the Hisui Sneasel you want to develop. You can only evolve one Hisui Sneasel at a time. At this point, there is nothing more for you to do except relax and watch the evolution sequence.

The Razor Claw is a consumable item that can be purchased at the Trading Post in Pokémon Legends: Arceus for a total of 1,400 Merit Points.
If you would rather save your Merit Points for anything else, you may also find this item in the wild by either beating Hisui Sneasel or capturing it. This gives you the option to acquire it without spending any of your Merit Points. It’s possible that you’ll have to take down a few Hisui Sneasel before you can locate one, but at least you’ll be making headway on their Research Tasks in the meantime!
Arceus knows the location of the Johto Sneasel in Pokémon Legends.
You may also capture the Johto variant of Sneasel in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. This variant lives in Johto.
This Pokémon is a member of the ice and dark types, and the only place you can find it is in the Space-time Distortions that can be found in the Obsidian Fieldlands.
If you want to catch this Pokémon, you’ll have to be patient and wait for one of these occurrences to develop. When it does, you’ll need to bear in mind that the Pokémon that are contained inside it are pretty strong. Due to this fact, we strongly advise taking your most powerful Pokémon along with you, as well as a sufficient supply of healing items and either Great or Ultra Balls.
Because the Space-time Distortions will disappear at some point, you will have to move quickly if you want to locate your Sneasel.
