Faiyaz may be seen in the clip, which is in black and white, leaning on a car’s hood while a “W” is painted on the wall behind him. Along with the aforementioned, other contributors to the album are listed on a series of title cards, including Raphael Saadiq, L3gion, Tre’ Amani, Nascent, No I.D., Paperboy Fabe, Mike Dean, Lil Rece, The Neptunes, Jonathan “Freeze” Wells, Mikeblud, OG Che’ The Sensei, Joony, DJ Dahi, Beat Butcha, Steve Lacy, itai.

The album “Wasteland,” which will be released on July 8 by Lost Kids, features a new song by Brent Faiyaz titled “PRICE OF FAME.

In 2020, Faiyaz released Fuck the World, his most recent EP. He worked with Baby Keem and Meek Mill on a new rendition of “Lost Souls” last year, as well as on the Expensive Pain song “Halo.”

The 26-year-old R&B performer has already worked with Drake, Kanye West, and Tyler, the Creator, whose album Call Me If You Get Lost starring Faiyaz won a Grammy this year. He has also received a Grammy nomination. But his sense of style is equally as distinctive as his music. Faiyaz has a look that is nearly Parisian, despite the fact that the heartthrob is American: je ne sais quoi, homme edition. He even got stains on the runway as a result of it.

The singer finished the Pyer Moss spring 2020 ready-to-wear show in 2019 sporting an enormous coat, a sophisticated white button-up, and of course Reebok x Pyer Moss sneakers. Faiyaz was also a part of a Burberry advertisement for the same season and continues to support the company. With sensuous sing-rapping characterised by fuzzy nights and a foggy rendezvous, Brent first appeared in this guise on the December 2021 single “MERCEDES,” floating over its ethereal yet hard-hitting soundtrack.

The Lost Kids mogul created a year-ending smash that only raised anticipation for Wasteland while talking about the drop-top Mercedes his lady only wants him for. But his upcoming CD does not include this song.

Faiyaz responded that wasteland was more of a life process than an album when asked what it meant to him. Once He realised that they all seemed to have a same theme, He simply created a collection of songs and wove a narrative between them. It wasn’t until he was maybe a little over halfway through that he really realised he was working on an album. Afterward, he understood that was a body of work.

What are your thoughts on his upcoming album? Would it be a big success? Post a comment below.
