JoJo’s Bruno Bucciarati Poses in Balenciaga for Magazine Cover!

Date:

The underlying concept of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures by Hirohiko Araki has always been one of making a fashion statement. Whatever the character is up to, their outfits are always impeccable.
Because it doesn’t need people to show in stereotypically masculine or feminine ways, the clothing is majestic and expresses originality and personality.

JoJo stances, along with the characters’ daring attire, are so alluring because they meld the two distinct realms of high fashion and shounen manga in a way that has never been done before. Araki is incredibly passionate about both the fashion business and art. His heroes include Gianni Versace and Christian Dior, and many of his most famous manga panels pay homage to the fashion illustrations of illustrious ’80s designers.

Additionally, it should be noted that the series doesn’t hesitate to outfit male characters similarly to female ones. It’s encouraging to see that the male and female characters have comparable fashion senses and that this is accepted as being commonplace within the series’ fictional world.

The fashion of Jojo makes a significant point that there is no gender-specific dress code in the series. In the characters’ styles, masculinity and femininity may be blended effortlessly and stand for personal expression.

And that brings us to Shueisha’s UOMO magazine’s October 2018 edition. Model Bruno Bucciarati is depicted on this article’s cover page. He was shown by manga artist Hirohiko Araki sporting a Balenciaga runway ensemble from the upcoming Fall 2018 collection.

In an effort to publicise the Hirohiko Araki JoJo Exhibition: Ripples of Adventure exhibition, the cover was created. On the same day as the publication of the magazine, the show debuts at The National Art Center in Roppongi.
