The updates can be done via Google Play Store. There is a limitation to testing this Google Camera 8.5 version on every Pixel device. The Google Camera 8.5 can be tested on low and mid-range phones like the Google Pixel 5a.
This small change in the number of versions is a slight change that can only be seen in the Google Pixel’s devices only. These are all minor updates that are not easily seen while using the Google Camera 8.5.
