The final International break of the year is going to take place. All the major football clubs took the back seats for a few weeks and are ready for its beginning. Before returning to their respective clubs, all the teams across Europe will aim to qualify for UEFA Euro 2021. There will be some friendly matches along with the qualification matches. This time the International break comes with five mind-blowing fixtures which football enthusiasts can not overlook. So let us take a look at the teams which will take centre stage.

First Fixture: Portugal vs Spain

These two European teams will face each other at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, in Libson on Wednesday. We can think of this match as a warm-up for both Portugal and Spain as they will face France and Switzerland respectively, in UEFA Nations matches. In their previous friendly games, Portugal secured three wins out of eight, and Spain had four wins out of five. Both the teams include less popular players, but still, this game is something fans should look forward to watching.

Second Fixture: England vs Belgium

The first two matches played by England were very disappointing. The Three Lions struggled to win over Iceland in the first one and had to rely on a penalty. But this is not even the worse part. The second friendly match was more disappointing than the one with Iceland. In the second match, England played against Denmark and the game settled in the draw. Fans look forward to watching their favourite team playing against a strong opponent, Belgium. England supporters hope that the team will be back in their form.

Third Fixture: Italy vs the Netherlands

This fixture has two European heavyweights facing each other. The match takes place in Rome on 14 October 2020. Italians are ready to take revenge on the Oranje for the reverse fixture last month. But this defeat is something that Dutch’s can not afford. This game is crucial for them to get into the successive final tournament. Fans can expect to watch a do-or-die clash between the Italians and the Dutch.

Fourth Fixture: France vs Portugal

This match is going to be the best of all the heavyweight clashes in the competition. The game will be at the Stade de France on 11 October 2020. The match will be interesting to watch as both the teams have a 100% record of a win in the previous games. Cristiano Ronaldo against the host which scored a victory against Sweden will be something worthwhile. Just a few more days and we will be enjoying the match.

Fifth Fixture: the Netherlands vs Mexico

This fixture seems to be a very high profile one. The match will be on Wednesday night. For the first time, Frank de Boer will be in- charge of the Netherlands team since Ronald Koeman got replaced.
